THE Guernsey squad has been decimated for today’s trip to CS Rugby.

Coach Jordan Reynolds has to cope without up to 10 first-team squad members including many of his big name players for the club’s third National League Three London & South-East outing this afternoon.

‘It is the same as last year when the first few games we lost were because we had a lot of players out,’ Reynolds said.

‘We do have a lot of injuries, which is not helping, and some guys who have picked up knocks are having to play through them so it is going to be one of those tough days.

‘However, when we played Chichester last season we had seven senior guys out but still won, so it can be done. We just have to play very smart.
