GUERNSEY moved up to fourth in National League Three after a win that shows the islanders  are 'heading in the right direction'.

That was the verdict of coach Jordan Reynolds after watching his side run in six tries at Tring for a second successive bonus point victory and, with it, close to within four points of the leaders.

But as Reynolds explained, it is a performance that will need to be improved upon again if they are to defeat league leaders Barnes at Footes Lane this weekend.

'It was quite a tough game and, even though Tring are bottom, I think they will pick up a few wins this season,' he said.

'Up front they had a big pack and their kicker was excellent, he didn't miss a single attempt all afternoon.'
