THE return of two star players and a couple of home debutants have given Guernsey a much needed boost ahead of tomorrow's clash with Westcliff.

Sam Stevens returns to the pack following a foot injury while Luke Sayer is back in the three-quarters for Jordan Reynolds' men as they look to end a four-match losing streak.

Dale Rutledge, who featured at Gravesend last week, makes his first start at Footes Lane while new signing James Marwick comes in at centre.

'We have picked one of the strongest sides we have had all year, which is a positive, but we have lost the last four and we need to shake that monkey off our back,' said Reynolds.

'We are quite aware that we need a win in a big way.'
