AS HE prepares to take on a Guernsey FC side now second-favourites to win the FA Vase, Erith Town manager James Collins admits his side are 'slight underdogs' tomorrow.

The 'Dockers' are unbeaten in the Kent League and are flying high, but they entertain a Guernsey FC side themselves focused on promotion, in one of the standout second-round ties.

It will be an acid test for Collins, who only took the Erith hotseat a fortnight ago after the departure of Tony Russell, but he is expecting a close encounter.

'We have had a look at Guernsey recently in the same way that I am sure they have looked at us play,' he said.
