A LATE penalty earned Guernsey a fourth straight win in National Three London & South-East on Saturday and lifted them to sixth in the table.

Scott Davidson was successful with the boot a couple of minutes from time to seal a hard-fought 18-15 victory at Hertford on a day when only four of the scheduled seven matches in the league were completed because of the weather.

'It was a tough game and, although it is an old cliché, it really was a game of two halves,' said Guernsey coach Jordan Reynolds, pictured,.

'There was a fairly big slope on the pitch and we were kicking them back into their 22 in the first half, then they did exactly the same to us in the second half.'
