Future is looking bright with numbers up

WITH the new winter season under way the Guernsey Air Rifle Association year has got off to a promising start with all executive posts being filled at the recent AGM.

WITH the new winter season under way the Guernsey Air Rifle Association year has got off to a promising start with all executive posts being filled at the recent AGM.

The executive committee for 2012-13 is as follows: president, Jaime Cirigliano; vice presidents, Chris Jackson and John Mechem jnr; secretary, Paul Guillou; fixtures secretary, John D. Mechem; and treasurer, Claire Batiste.

Membership of the clubs this year is looking up.

Cobo's membership is up by 50% on last year, with North's and St Pierre's at about the same.

The leagues have got under way with all teams having fired at least two matches each in both the six-yard and 10m leagues.
