Indoor Cricket Open to be held in March

SEVEN teams have already expressed strong interest at playing in next year's inaugural Guernsey Indoor Cricket Open at the Indoor Cricket Centre.

Among that list are Kwazulu Natal, who include a large number of the current England team, with the three-day competition set to take place from 15-17 March 2013.

The hosts Guernsey have confirmed they will definitely enter their full senior team and probably an under-19 development team but they could also create a third team if tournament numbers dictated.

All of the UK teams will be approached again in the coming days for final decisions, while it is hoped that the final number could include as many as 12 teams.
