Heavy pitch sure to slow thrill-makers

THE Christmas break has helped to swell numbers in the Guernsey ranks.

Tom Pool and James Regnard both return to the match-day squad for today's encounter with CS Rugby 1863 at Footes Lane, while coach Jordan Reynolds was pleased to report that Jason Batiste and Tom Ceillam have returned to training too.

'We are getting a few guys back now, but these guys have had a lot of time out and the last thing we want to do is throw them back in at the deep end before they are ready,' Reynolds said.

'Tom Ceillam has a bit of a shoulder injury. He probably could have played this week, but we decided to give him one more week on the sidelines.

'Tom Pool is going to have a run-out, which is good for us, Jim has been training and his knee seems to be OK and Jason is back training too.'
