THERE were definitely no signs of a Christmas hangover for X The Finish Line last night as they stormed to a convincing victory at Beau Sejour.

In fact, the X men looked as if they have been champing at the bit to get on court throughout the festive period as they flew out of the blocks to establish a decisive early lead which they never looked in danger of losing.

By comparison, Le Mont Saint One showed signs of rustiness in the opening exchanges as their shots failed to drop and, although they enjoyed a competitive spell midway through the contest, having to chase the game took its toll as the final scoreline showed.

The catalyst behind XTFL’s success was Jim Rowe, who dominated the first quarter, finishing it with 10 points already to his name.
