Guernsey FC have made local history by reaching the FA Vase last-16 after an incredible fourth round match.

The Green Lions were 2-0 down early on, but a brace from Ross Allen levelled matters at half-time.

Dom Heaume's header looked to have completed a turnaround for GFC, only for Rye to make it 3-3 late on and send it to extra time.

The drama continued as Rye retook the lead, before Heaume struck again to level it in stoppage time at the end of the first period.

But moments after the restart, Rye made it 5-4, only for Nigel Hutton to dramatically equalise for GFC once again.

And the afternoon was rounded off with a 115th minute winner from Dave Rihoy that completed a barely-believable game.
