GUERNSEY riders more than held their own in classes carrying in excess of 50 combinations in a prestigious three-day competition at the renowned Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre.

Three Sarnians took to the arena in Hampshire, with Paullette King, Mel Round and Sarah Rolph up against some high-class fields including the likes

of top international showjumper Tim Stockdale.

'All of us competed in a number of classes throughout the weekend in open and qualifier rounds,' King said.

'The trip was successful and was a great boost for the few of us that travelled across.'
