FACING a Football League club in the FA Cup first round proper is not out of the question for Guernsey FC, according to Tony Vance.

However, the Green Lions coach admits that his team will require 'some lucky draws' to achieve that dream, which would require winning five preliminary matches first.

The club confirmed yesterday that they are proceeding with their plans to enter both the FA Cup and FA Trophy after their '60 Saviours' appeal was a success, raising the money needed to cover any shortfall after special FA guidelines were set out.

Vance, pictured, said that support from the local community, which saw 75 people pledge funds, is incredible and he believes they are investing in a unique competition.

What is the point you are trying to make?

Please explain.

Wigan are owned by a billionaire who can buy whatever players he wants and whichever Manager he wants.

Guernsey FC is a Community Club.
