THE Beau Sejour Barracudas hit a significant milestone this weekend when they host their 25th Specsavers Open Meet.

A total of 178 swimmers will take part in 1,521 swims as this year's event will see swimmers predominantly from the four Channel Islands clubs competing in Level 2 and Level 3 events.

There are several individuals travelling to the meet from the UK, anxious to qualify for the National Championships, with this competition being their last opportunity.

The event continues to provide excellent 'competition on the doorstep' for local swimmers, allowing competitors of all ages to swim in all strokes and distances at a high level.
