HAVING made her bow on the international equestrian stage, Amelia Jeffery was 'thrilled' with her performance and is looking forward to more of the same.

Guernsey-born Jeffery left the island four years ago to pursue her career in the UK, with her horse Kannoko, working her way through the British ranks.

Last week the culmination of her hard work was competing live on Sky Sports in the British Jumping Derby Meeting at Hickstead, where she finished 33rd in the Hickstead Masters Challenge.

She finished the course with just four jumping faults and a time of 64.18sec., which placed her in an impressive position of the 57 class entries.
