JOHN ROWLINSON was the only man to dip below the 10sec. barrier in glorious conditions at the second Vazon sprint of the season.

Those on two wheels traditionally dominate the fastest time standings on the west coast, and this time was no different, although Rowlinson's performance was particularly impressive.

He crossed the line in a blistering 9.92sec., comfortably clear of Adam

Girard's later effort of 10.15 and also only just outside the sprint's long-standing class record.

Kent Gavey has been the record holder in the motor cycles 751cc and over since 2004, but there can't be too many times in the nine years since that his 9.75 has been run so close.
