Galaxy London take title

GALAXY London came and conquered Saturday's CISX Channel Islands' touch rugby Championship.

The one-day mixed tournament saw players from Guernsey, Jersey and the UK with eight teams taking part.

'We couldn't really have asked for more. The weather was fantastic, the rain the day before had really helped with the playing conditions, there were some highly competitive games of touch and, as always, a fantastic atmosphere between the players,' said Guernsey Touch chairwoman Katrina Bray.

Galaxy London were the team to beat all day and dominated their games which in the group stages included a 12-0 win over Panthers and a 10-1 win over Electric Shocks.
