Allen out of Ramsgate clash at Footes Lane

ANOTHER big-name Guernsey FC player will be confined to the stands today – but there is hugely encouraging news about one who will be joining him.

The Green Lions will have to make do without Ross Allen for today's visit of Ramsgate in their third Ryman South fixture, as the star striker battles a dead calf sustained in the 1-0 defeat to Horsham.

He joins Alex Le Prevost, Jason Winch and Kieran Mahon on the treatment table, but Ryan-Zico Black could be just a month away from GFC action again.

Nine months after suffering a horrific double leg break at Erith Town, the GFC midfielder played for Vale Rec in a Rawlinson Cup game on Thursday.
