THE unjust got their just desserts on Saturday on a dramatic last day in the Swoffers Weekend Championship.

Cobo Tigers grabbed the title from under the noses of defending champions Miton Optimal, just two days after their captain, Jamie Nussbaumer, said it would be Cobo's most unjust title ever should they win it and book a place in the 'Upton' against

Jersey champions Old Victorians.

But champions they are again and the first player they might wish to have bought a celebratory beer, after their own heroic Stuart Le Prevost who struck a match-winning 79, was young Josh Kirk.

The young Guernsey U19 player has had a torrid season with the bat but a week after his elder brother, Tom, had seemingly sunk Cobo's chances with a match-clinching half-century to enable ORs to pull off a win over the Tigers, young Josh repeated the dose as this time ORs put a spanner in Miton's works.
