GUERNSEY will be without two of their Kiwi stars including their captain as they target a first home win of the season tomorrow.

Blair Campbell is unavailable for the visit of Basingstoke to Footes Lane because he is on holiday in his native New Zealand and coach Jordan Reynolds also confirmed yesterday that Malcolm Barnes will miss the match due to a hamstring injury.

That has meant a reshuffle in the backline, with Matt Ball taking over at fly half and Jason Batiste returning at inside centre with Ben Challinor coming in on the wing.

However, Reynolds does not foresee any problems arising despite the changes.

'If you look at our backline, we have quality players who are capable of performing in a number of positions. I have seen it in training this week and I am comfortable with it,' the coach said.

'We are making very simple game plans this week and will look to do the simple things well.'
