TONY VANCE hailed his '11 magnificent players' after a superb 2-0 victory over Hastings United breathed new life back into their Ryman South promotion challenge.

Title-favourites Hastings were well beaten at Footes Lane by the brilliant Green Lions, with Dom Heaume's goal moments before half-time being added to by an own goal from visiting goalkeeper Josh Pelling.

'Nobody could argue with the fact that we fully deserved the win tonight.'
