Burried in the opening 20 minutes

Guernsey 12, Bury St Edmunds 24

IF A severe gale was not enough to contend with, Guernsey left themselves a mountain to climb inside the opening 20 minutes at Footes Lane on Saturday.

Bury St Edmunds had the wind at their backs in the first half, but the home side could not use that as an excuse as they surrendered three converted tries as well as a penalty in the opening quarter of the game.
