GUERNSEY finally overcame their Westcombe Park hoodoo on Saturday.

In their three previous meetings, the green-and-whites had never scored a try against their bogey side, let alone beaten them, so it was no wonder that Jordan Reynolds wore a smile of satisfaction at the end of this victory.

'That was playing on my mind,' said Guernsey's head coach, who spent the week devising ways to change their fortunes against these particular opponents.

'I'm just glad the plans we put in place worked.'

Tom Ceillam, James Regnard, Sam Whitehead and Cameron Craine scored the four Guernsey tries at Footes Lane, with Whitehead adding a conversion and penalty.
