The champions won 5-3 at Northfield with Craig Young and Robbie Williams netting their other goals.
North, who were 4-1 down with quarter-of-an-hour remaining, came close to pulling off a remarkable comeback after goals in quick succession from Ollie McKenzie and Tom Martin, but Williams' late strike ended their hopes. Substitute Kyle Smith had scored their first.
In the other game last night, Vale Rec beat St Martin's 1-0 at Blanche Pierre Lane through Glenn Le Tissier's second-half penalty.
