Magnificent Jersey put Guernsey to the sword in Junior Muratti

THE recent dominance of Jersey's representative youth continued on Saturday with a thoroughly one-sided Junior Muratti success in front of a decent lunchtime Corbet Field crowd.

It was certainly an afternoon to forget for Guernsey, who were every bit as poor on the day as the visitors were good and nobody could have complained had the final margin of Caesarean victory been eight or nine.

One-way traffic it was for the entire 90 minutes, despite the hosts taking the first-half lead against the run of play and being level at the break.

All of the game's top performers wore red.
