Champions League style cups coming
THE Stranger and Guernsey FA Cups are changing format to accommodate Steve Sharman's under-19 representative side next season.

The island's senior clubs are likely to vote through the changes at a meeting next Wednesday, much to the delight of Sharman, the Guernsey Football Association's director of youth football and Muratti manager.
Both cups will be played with a Champions League group format and, unlike the original Sharman proposal to have the U19s playing non-counting Priaulx League games, the U19s will have the carrot of being able to win the cups.
