Lee Merrien out of Commonwealth Games
LEE MERRIEN will not run in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Olympian and island marathon record-holder has a stress fracture in his sacrum and has notified the Guernsey Commonwealth Games Association that he will not take his place in the team.
It is understood that Merrien made the decision while at the altitude training base in Font Romeu in the Pyrenees where he had gone last week to continue his preparations.
