TONY VANCE hopes that Guernsey FC can enjoy another momentum-building FA Cup run, despite receiving a tough draw.

The Green Lions found out that they will travel to Worthing in the preliminary round and although confidence will be high of winning that tie, a bigger test would then await.

Ryman Premier side Dulwich Hamlet, who just missed out on the play-offs last season, host the winner in the first qualifying round.

'As I always say, our priority is our league campaign and trying to get promoted, but the FA Cup is a special competition,' Vance said.

'Last season when we were struggling in the league at the start, it was that cup run that created momentum that saw our season pick up.

'As for any matches after that, we have no right to talk about them and have to earn the right by first beating Worthing.'
