Watson serve picked apart by Azarenka

FORMER Grand Slam winner Victoria Azarenka ended Heather Watson's fine run at the big Rogers Cup event in Montreal overnight.

The No. 8 seed, who won back to back Australian Opens in 2012 and 2013, took out the Guernsey woman 6-2, 6-4 in their third round match.

The big-hitting Belarusian raced out into a 3-0 lead as she forced an early double break on the British No. 1.

That set up a comfortable first set for the East European and despite an early break for Watson in the second, Azarenka stormed back to win on the back of five of six break points she earned.
