GFC fail to deliver when things turn 'ugly'

A POOR second half display saw Guernsey FC get off to the worst possible start in their Ryman South campaign at Chipstead on Saturday.

Despite leading at the break through Dom Heaume's strike and dominating proceedings, it was the complete opposite after the break and they succumbed 3-1 to the hosts.

'I am really frustrated and disappointed because in the first half, we were totally dominant and just weren't ruthless enough,' coach Tony Vance said.

Vance's side will have an immediate chance to respond this week, as they host Whyteleafe on Wednesday evening.
