AFTER their opening day defeat, Tony Vance admits that tonight's hosting of Whyteleafe at Footes Lane is a 'bigger game than it should be at this early stage'.

A disappointing 3-1 defeat at Chipstead has put extra pressure on the Green Lions, who have doubts over whether both Kieran Mahon and Tom de la Mare will be fit to play.

Glyn Dyer is back, though, as manager Vance hopes to see his side belatedly kick-start their title challenge at a ground which took a while for GFC to get going at last year.

'We can't afford to go two games without a win, so it is a vital game already,' said Vance.

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.45pm.
