Saints show promise as they knock out hosts

St Martins came from behind to grab a Rawlinson Cup quarter-final victory in a game that ended in storybook fashion with one-time island great, Matt Warren, scoring the third and clinching goal at the Track.

Warren, who has been struck down by illness and injuries these past two years and had become something of a forgotten man, had come on at the start of the second half when the game was still locked at 0-0.

Sam McKenzie fired Bels in front with a fine strike from outside the box, but then came the turnaround with Danny Marquand providing the equaliser for Saints and Steve Renouf heading home a deep cross for a second.
