This time it was East Grinstead Town who left the island with all three points after a 4-2 success, taking the Green Lions' goals conceded tally to seven in two games across the weekend.

And to make matters even worse for GFC, substitute Simon Geall was stretchered off late on with a double break in his leg.

A despondent Vance vowed that he and his players would fight to improve on their 13th place showing after six games.

'We are wounded right now and I can assure people that everybody in our dressing room is hurting right now and desperate to put things right,' he said.
