Performances must improve and quickly says Reynolds

GUERNSEY head coach Jordan Reynolds acknowledged that his team have to 'walk the walk, not just talk the talk' if they are going to push for a top-four spot in National three London & South-East this season.

An impressive Westcombe Park outfit inflicted an opening day 37-7 defeat on the green-and-whites on Saturday and Reynolds admitted that Guernsey will have to improve markedly and quickly if they are to achieve their target for the season.

'It probably brings us back down to earth,' he said yesterday.

'There has been a lot of chat about us being possible contenders, but it is our performances that will reflect just how we are going to do this year.
