Saunders goes quickest at last meet
NICK SAUNDERS ended a frustrating season on a high by picking up the fastest time of the day honours at the final Le Val des Terres hill climb of 2014 last weekend.

Making the most of the absence of Darren Warwick from the entry list, Saunders' penultimate run of 28.96sec. saw off the close challenge of Paul Priaulx.
Near-perfect conditions benefitted the drivers, according to Saunders, whose season is now complete as he has chosen not to compete at the upcoming Alderney three-day event.
'To get a sub-29 time is always pleasing and it is always nice to be the fastest driver as well because whoever you are up against, you want to beat,' he said.
