Sylvans threatened to shock the league leaders for a long while at Northfield last night, but ultimately the visitors paid the price for some lamentable defending which handed the victory to North on a plate.

Simon Tostevin and Ryan Lamb both helped themselves to a brace with substitute Danny Hale scoring the fifth.

Sam Murray had given Sylvans an early lead at Northfield.
