Allen misses trip to Three Bridges

GUERNSEY FC will look to start rectifying their 'Achilles heel' this evening and keep their ever-improving Ryman South play-off hopes on track.

After securing an eighth win in nine games at the weekend that sees them second only to leaders Burgess Hill Town in the form table, the Green Lions are back in action at Three Bridges.

However, they will have to do so without Ross Allen, whose has not been named in the squad as he recovers from a tight hamstring that curtailed his weekend involvement.

Despite Allen's absence, manager Tony Vance is boosted by being able to name goalkeeper Chris Tardif for a rare midweek trip after his brilliance at the weekend, while Dave Rihoy is also included.

Tom de la Mare, Glyn Dyer and Tom Strawbridge are all unavailable, meaning that Jason Winch will start at left-back, while Simon Geall or Liam Mahon will be at right-back.

GFC squad

Tardif, Geall, L. Mahon, Pengelley, Cochrane, Dodd, J. Winch, Steel, Mackay, Black, Loaring, Heaume, Rihoy, McGrath and L. Winch.
