AFTER suffering just their second defeat in 10 matches, Tony Vance issued a stern warning to his Guernsey FC players that they must pull together and 'play as a team'.

The Green Lions suffered a blow to their Ryman South play-off hopes with a 2-0 reverse away at rivals Three Bridges last night, after being guilty of missing several gilt-edged chances in an entertaining contest.

But while manager Vance was frustrated with the outcome, he was more concerned with the togetherness of his squad, which he roundly criticised.

'Our players need to learn to play as a team because there were far too many individuals out there tonight quick to jump on the back of any mistake by a teammate,' he said.
