Jersey's former pro Boyle in GFC talks
JACK BOYLE says there is a 'very strong possibility' that he will be wearing a Guernsey FC shirt come the new Ryman South season in August.
There have been rumours for months that Jersey's best on-island player would decide to make the move across the water to play for the Green Lions.
Now, the 24-year-old former professional midfielder says that after advanced discussions with GFC manager Tony Vance, it is close to happening – assuming a sponsor can be found to fund his regular flights because he would remain living in Jersey.
'I have talked about it with Tony properly for four or five weeks now and as long as a sponsor can be found, I am 99% sure that I will be a Guernsey FC player next season,' said Boyle.
