Indies 8, Yobbos 1

INDIES are one point away from retaining their title.

With Colombians the 'clubhouse leaders' having finished their campaign with 39 points, the defending champions drew level with their big rivals thanks to yesterday's victory over Yobbos.

Now only Casuals stand between Andy Alford's men and the crown. They meet in the final game of the league season next Wednesday at 6.30pm.

Against Yobbos, Steve Waldrom scored four for Indies and there were two goals apiece for Dan Slimm and Josh Kendal.

Tim Eggimann had deservedly scored a first-half equaliser for Yobbos which took the sides into the interval level at 1-1 before Indies dominated the second 35min.
