Taylor will be joined by Sussex CCC director of women and girls cricket, Charlotte Burton, and current Sussex women county players Georgia Adams and Charlotte Russell.

Jason Shambrook, the local cricket development officer, said it was great to have Taylor and co returning after proving so popular with the local squad in 2014.

'She was brilliant last time around and I am sure our players will benefit greatly again,' he said.

The woman who dons the gloves for her country, while also being one of her side's key batters, impressed everyone at the ICG Centre almost a year ago, none more so than her equivalent in the Sarnian set-up, Emma Atkinson who was thrilled to get the chance to pick up a few top tips for her summer sport.

'It was amazing to be able to spend time being coached by somebody like Sarah Taylor and we owe a massive thanks to Guernsey Cricket for making it happen,' said the keeper-batsman who in one 45-minute one-on-one session with the England international reckoned she learned a huge amount the skills of the job behind the stumps.
