TOBYN HORTON again saw London as a happy hunting ground after a superb third-place finish at round seven of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series in Croydon.

With it, he helped his Madison Genesis team edge ever closer to the overall team title with three rounds of the series left, including tonight's prestigious stage at Canary Wharf.

It was at Canary Wharf a year ago that Horton brilliantly won the stage outright and then followed it up with a magnificent victory two days later at the Jupiter London Nocturne.

Fast forward 12 months and he showed that his consistent top-10 finishes last year were no fluke, as he finished on the podium in Croydon.

And in a show of the competitiveness this year, Marcin Bialoblocki's victory for One Pro Cycling means there have now been seven different winners across the seven rounds thus far.

Round eight at Canary Wharf takes place tonight at 7.30pm, with coverage live on ITV4.
