Seb Priaulx, just 14, has more than proved his racing skills in karting and now he has taken the next steps on the pathway ladder with a test in a Ginetta G40 Junior car.

Priaulx senior admits that his son is keen to follow in his footsteps and the skill and speed Seb showed in his first-ever laps behind the wheel of the Ginetta car impressed everyone present at the test at Buntingthorpe where he was at the wheel of a car run by JHR Racing.

After the test the youngster said: 'That was an amazing opportunity and I enjoyed every minute of it. The car felt responsive and easy to control and felt like the logical car for me to drive after my karting days.'

The plan is for Seb to move to the Ginetta series for 2016.
