Sharman named as coach for FA Inter-League Cup challenge

STEVE SHARMAN has been named as Guernsey's coach in their quest for FA Inter-League Cup glory and will be assisted by Colin Fallaize.

And in confident mood, Sharman believes that there is the quality within the FNB Priaulx League to go deep into the competition, as he prepares for a home last-16 tie next month.

His first task will be to pick a squad for the last-16 match against the Southern Amateur League, something he is likely to complete within the next week.

'This is a fantastic opportunity for those currently playing Priaulx League football to show they have that hunger and desire to step up and play for a Guernsey representative team,' he said.
