GUERNSEY swimmers will look to hold onto the Governor's Cup that they won a year ago when they travel to Jersey for tomorrow's swimming inter-insular battle.

Being held at Haute Vallee School, the visiting Sarnians are hopeful they can retain their crown as they have a strong team available to them even without star man Tom Hollingsworth, sidelined from competitive action due to a knee injury he sustained while playing netball.

In his absence the men's captain will be Guernsey Swimming Club stalwart Matt Girard, while Barracudas' Annalise Munro leads a women's team that also includes her fellow teenager and star name Courtney Butcher.
