Guernsey-bred pack look to spearhead Raiders bid for fourth win in six

THERE will be added satisfaction for the coach if Guernsey Raiders win at home to Westcliff tomorrow (2pm kick off).

With the Gardner brothers Leon and Luke called up to the starting XV, seven of the eight-man pack will be locally born and bred, Lewis Hillier the odd man out in that respect.

Jordan Reynolds can see the relevance in terms of building a brighter Guernsey rugby future, but it will not mean so much if the Raiders lose to a team that arrive next to bottom of the National Three London and South East table after five start straight losses.
