With the Gardner brothers Leon and Luke called up to the starting XV, seven of the eight-man pack will be locally born and bred, Lewis Hillier the odd man out in that respect.

Jordan Reynolds can see the relevance in terms of building a brighter Guernsey rugby future, but it will not mean so much if the Raiders lose to a team that arrive next to bottom of the National Three London and South East table after five start straight losses.
