'CHAMPIONS to failures' can be a very quick transition Jordan Reynolds has warned his Guernsey Raiders ahead of tomorrow's trip to Shelford.

A week after their heroic display saw them edge out promotion-chasing Westcombe Park 16-13 in a Footes Lane thriller, the GRFC director of rugby said one win in a campaign of 26 games will not make a season.

'As good as you are one week, you can easily be grounded the next,' Reynolds said.

'We know we will have to improve from the Westcombe game to compete with Shelford, who are a good side, especially at home, and have had some good results this year.'
