THERE could be a sense of deja vu for the Footes Lane crowd on Saturday when Guernsey and Colchester face off.

This weekend marks the halfway point of the National Three London & South-East season with the two sides meeting in the league for the first time.

However, both have good knowledge of each other having met in front of the Garenne Stand in an August pre-season match that was organised before the clubs found out that they would be in the same division this campaign.

Raiders won 36-26 on that occasion, but GRFC director of rugby Jordan Reynolds was impressed by the opposition's potential.
