A bonus-point 27-8 win over Bracknell at Footes Lane on Saturday lifted them to sixth in National Three London & South-East and to within four points of fifth-placed Hertford.

GRFC director of rugby Jordan Reynolds was more than satisfied with the display from a patched-up side for who Layton Batiste scored two tries with the others coming from wingers Glen Walters and Dave Davison with Owen Thomas kicking the other seven points.

'We had to do the best we could with what we had,' Reynolds said.

'We just played a little bit more intelligently and stuck to what we wanted to do.

'It was a tough slog, but I think the boys should be pretty pleased with how they played today.'
