Favourites Guernsey live up to their billing
GUERNSEY proved their tag as overwhelming favourites to win another home snooker inter-insular was justified as they romped to an 18-7 success over Jersey on a one-sided Saturday of action at the North British Legion.

In the second year of this new extended best-of-25 frames format, proceedings never even threatened to become as gripping as they were when Guernsey edged it 13-12 away from home 12 months ago.
Instead, they had it virtually in the bag by the end of the afternoon session as they led 11-3 and within two of victory, which were secured within half-an-hour of the evening session getting under way.
