Simpson beats Walker in World Championship opener
CHRIS SIMPSON is through to the second round of the Wadi Degla World Squash Championship in Egypt.

The Guernseyman recorded his first career win over long-time training partner Alister Walker of Botswana this afternoon – 11-2, 13-11, 11-9 in 42min. in Cairo.
'I'm really happy to get through to the second round,' said the Sarnian afterwards.
Simpson will now face 16th seed Max Lee of Hong Kong tomorrow for a place in the last 16.
